1. Disclaimer
Results may vary
Hypnotherapy outcomes differ from person to person. They depend on individual circumstances, on how a person engages with the process, and on factors outside anyone’s control. No outcome is promised or guaranteed by Al Bravo, operating as AL BRAVO Coach, or by anything published on this website.
Any testimonials, reviews, or client comments that appear on this site describe the experience of the individual who gave them. They are not a prediction, a typical result, or a promise of what will happen for anybody else. Testimonials are published only with the permission of the person who gave them.
Not medical or psychological care
Al Bravo is a certified hypnotherapist. He is not a physician, psychologist, psychiatrist, psychotherapist, counsellor, dietitian, or licensed mental-health professional, and he does not present himself as any of those.
The hypnotherapy services offered through this website are non-medical. They do not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or mitigate any disease, disorder, or medical or psychological condition, and nothing on this website should be interpreted as a claim to do so.
These services are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, psychological, or addiction care. They are intended to work alongside that care, never in place of it. Specifically:
- Always consult your physician about any medical or mental-health concern.
- Never stop, reduce, or change a prescribed medication or treatment because of anything read on this site or said in a session. That decision belongs to you and the professional who prescribed it.
- Persistent physical symptoms require a current diagnosis from a physician and that you remain under their care. See comfort and wellbeing.
- Substance dependence is a medical matter. Withdrawal from alcohol and from some drugs can be dangerous without medical supervision. See habit change.
In an emergency, do not use this website. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact 988 (Suicide Crisis Helpline, available across Canada) or call 911.
Information on this site is general
Everything published here is general information about the services offered. It is not personal advice, and it does not create a practitioner-client relationship. That relationship begins only when you and Al agree to work together and the terms of that work are set out to you directly.
2. Privacy policy
Al Bravo, operating as AL BRAVO Coach (“we”, “us”) is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. We aim to handle it in accordance with Canadian federal privacy law (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act.
What we collect
- What you give us. When you complete a form or book a session: your name, phone number, email address, and anything you choose to write in a free-text field, such as what you have already tried.
- What you tell us on the call or in a session. Notes relevant to the work, which may include health information you choose to disclose.
- Technical information. Standard web-server information such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages visited. This is collected automatically by the hosting provider and is used for security and to understand how the site is used.
Why we collect it
- To contact you about the enquiry or booking you made
- To provide the service you have asked about, and to keep appropriate records of it
- To answer questions and provide receipts or documentation you request
- To keep the website secure and working properly
- To meet legal and accounting obligations
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing email unless you have specifically asked to receive it. If we ever do, every message will include a working unsubscribe link.
We do not sell your information
Your personal information is never sold, rented, or traded. It is not shared with advertisers.
Who else sees your information
We use a small number of service providers to run the practice. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job.
- Website hosting and form handling: Netlify (Netlify, Inc.), once the site is deployed there
- Online booking: Calendly, once the consult calendar is connected
- Email: the inbox at Al@Albravocoach.com
- Email list: signup is on this website. When connected, MailerLite sends the messages and stores consent. Until then, Netlify Forms collects the addresses.
- Website analytics: None
- Payments: Stripe, via Calendly, when paid sessions are switched on. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are never stored by us.
Some of these providers may store or process data outside Canada, which means it could be subject to the laws of the country where it is held. We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.
Confidentiality of session content
What you discuss with Al is treated as confidential and is not disclosed to anyone else without your consent, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a serious and imminent risk of harm to you or to another person.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Third-party services embedded in the site, such as the booking system, may set their own cookies when you interact with them — their policies apply to those. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept only as long as needed to respond and then deleted. Client records are kept for six years after the last session, unless a longer period is required by law, after which they are securely destroyed. Financial records are kept as long as Canadian tax law requires.
How it is protected
This site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiries and client records is limited to Al, and files are held in password-protected accounts. No system is perfectly secure, but information is handled with the care its sensitivity warrants.
Your rights
You may, at any time:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask for a copy of it
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
- Ask us to delete it, subject to any legal retention requirements
- Withdraw consent to being contacted
Email Al@Albravocoach.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
These services are for adults aged 18 and over, and this website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
3. Terms of use

By using albravocoach.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
No professional relationship is created by browsing
Reading this website, submitting a form, or booking a free strategy session does not by itself create a practitioner-client relationship. That begins only when you and Al expressly agree to work together.
Accuracy
We take care to keep this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that every detail is complete or error-free at all times. Prices, program details, and workshop dates may change. The details confirmed to you directly by Al are the ones that apply.
Intellectual property
The text, design, graphics, and other content on this website are owned by Al Bravo unless stated otherwise. You may read, print, and share pages for your own personal use. You may not republish, resell, or reproduce the content commercially without written permission.
Links to other websites
Where this site links to a third-party website, that link is provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their privacy practices.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Al Bravo is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content. You use the information here at your own discretion and are responsible for your own decisions, including decisions about your health.
Bookings, payment and cancellation
Fees, payment terms, cancellation notice, and refunds are set out to you before you commit to any paid service. Summary:
- Cancellation and rescheduling: call or email as early as you can. The written rule is set with Al before launch.
- Refunds: stated on the free consult before you pay.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada. Any dispute will be dealt with in the courts of Alberta.
Changes to this page
We may update this page from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
